On 15 November 2024, Chris was approved for membership in the General Society of Mayflower Descendants based on his Mayflower lineage from Isaac Allerton and his daughter Mary. A second line from Peter Brown was approved on 17 December 2025.

On 22 December 2025, Chris was approved for membership in the National Society Sons of the American Revolution through his descent from Isaac Ferguson.

Note that places are almost always given as the modern place name, not the place as it was called at the time of the event or record. Caution is urged, however, particularly in the counties of Ohio that changed names frequently in the 19th century.
